Turnover for 2020 was recorded as €296m, a decrease of 2.5%, with a decrease of 3.3% in terms of organic growth. This organic contraction was equivalent to 5% in the case of the provision of services, excluding subcontracting.
As a direct result of the health crisis, this contraction can be explained by a reduction in the occupancy rate and the in-house productive workforce (3,111 employees at the end of December 2020, compared with 3,250 at the end of December 2019).
As a reminder, last November, Open Group acquired Neos-SDI, an IT consulting and engineering company specialised in the Microsoft environment. This company contributed €2.5 million to turnover for 2020.
Amidst a context that remains uncertain, Open Group has confirmed its forecast of an operating profit of around 4% for 2020.
Perspectives for 2021 will be presented with commentary on 1 April of this year, when the annual figures for 2020 are published.
